Diablos Announce 2011 Schedule
The El Paso Diablos will open their sixth season in the American Association at home against the Kansas City T-Bones with a seven day homestand starting May 12, 2011, the team announced on Monday.
The Kansas City T-Bones are one of four teams added to the American Association this fall including the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, the Gary SouthShore Railcats, the Winnipeg Goldeyes, and Amarillo, TX; making it North America?s largest independent league.
The Diablos will once again celebrate 4th of July with one of the area’s largest fireworks displays.
The Diablos will conclude their 2011 regular season at home with a four day homestand against the Wichita Wingnuts August 27-30.
The Diablos will face some new opponents both on the road and at home at Cohen Stadium throughout their 100-game schedule; the Kansas City T-Bones and the new Amarillo club.
The 2011 promotional schedule promises “new, exciting, out of the box promotions,” according to a team news release. Promotions will include Firework Friday, Thirsty Thursdas and Quartermania Sundays. The Diablos also will have several military nights. The Diablos will host 21 weekend dates in 2011. The complete promotional schedule will be released in February.
Season ticket, group, fireworks, and weekend packages are currently on sale for the 2011 season. For more information please call 915-755-2000 or visit our website www.diablos.com
