Get your grievances ready, today is Festivus
Festivus, the secular holiday introduced to the world by a 1997 episode of “Seinfeld,” has come around again.
It was actually practiced by former “Seinfeld” writer Daniel O’Keefe’s family since the 1960s and is celebrated every Dec. 23. It’s “a Festivus for the rest of us.”
Texas Gov. Rick Perry famously began a speech a few years ago saying he was going to start with the Airing of Grievances in tribute to Festivus.
