City Representative To Not Seek Reelection Amid Legal Troubles
Embattled City Representative Rachel Quintana has announced she will not seek reelection.
Quintana is scheduled to stand trial just five days before the May City Council election.
She is charged with forging the signature of her former supervisor at federal express to obtain a discounted fare on a Southwest airlines flight.
Quintana released a statement Friday afternoon, which stopped short of offering a reason for stepping down, but said it was in the best interest of her family and the community.
