District Judge Sues County Over Wrongful Termination
An El Paso district judge is suing the county for wrongful termination.
The ABC-7 I-Team has obtained a copy of the lawsuit.
In it, associate judge Roberta Bramblett of the 339th district court said El Paso County commissioners voted to let her go last October.
But she said they didn’t have the right to do that since she was appointed to her seat.
Bramblett was making about $129,000 a year. She’s looking for $2.6 million in damages.
