Police: Man Dead After Cold Night Along Alameda

El Paso Police found a man dead on the 3600 block of Alameda Wednesday.

This is the first death attributed to the severe weather in our area. Preliminary investigations indicate no signs of foul play.

An autopsy will determine the actual cause of death.

Police would like to ask the public to call police should they see any person who appears to be without shelter so that they may be transported to a warming center.

Those centers are located at the El Paso Civic Center and the El Paso County Sheriffs Office Academy located at 12501 Montana.
