El Paso DWI Task Force Begins 3rd Week Of Operations

El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen’s supplemented DWI task force began its third week of operations Thursday, Feb. 10. The supplemented task force began it efforts on Thursday, January 27, 2011.

The third week operations that began on Thursday resulted in eight individuals being arrested and charged with DWI, two Minor Detectable, one other arrests, 49 hazardous citations, and 49 non-hazardous citations.

This operation is expected to continue tonight (Feb. 11) and Saturday (Feb. 12).

Week One And Two Totals The totals for week one and two are as follows: 52 people arrested for DWI, 10 for Minor detectable, six-hundred and forty one citations, 22 minors in possession/consumption alcohol and twenty-one 21 pedestrian violations.
