Federal Agent Leaves Gun Unattended In El Paso Airport Restroom
A federal agent left a firearm in an public restroom at El Paso International Airport Tuesday, airport officials confirmed.
The gun was discovered in the restroom by a passenger, who then alerted authorities to the weapon. Terry Sharpe, Operations Manager for the airport, said airport management is aware of the incident, and is investigating, along with the Transportation Security Administration.
Sharpe would not give specific details about the weapon or what agency the federal agent works for.
