El Paso Police Seek Man In Homeless Woman’s Homicide

El Paso Police detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Elijah Adams in the homicide of 51-year-old Venus Driscoll, police officials announced Friday afternoon.

The bond issued in this murder was set at $5 million. The victim was located in the afternoon hours of March 15, 2011 in an empty lot located along the 9500 block of North Loop. Police said that investigators have determined that Adams acted alone in the homicide and have thus obtained the warrant.

The cause of death in this case is blunt force trauma to the head. Adams is 43 years old, 5-foot-10, 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He is homeless, according to police.

Adams may have left the El Paso area since the incident occurred and as such police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating him. If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of Adams they are asked to contact the El Paso Police Department at 915-832-4400 or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 915-566-8477
