Manhunt Monday 04/18/11: Rudy Gonzalez Jr.

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a violent assault which led to the death of his very own father. The target is identified as RUDY GONZALEZ JR. (42) of El Paso, TX.

APRIL 2011: On April 2, 2011 at about 7:40a.m. Officers from the El Paso Police Department were dispatched to a home located in the 1000 block of Tio Dink in the Mission Valley Region in reference to a family violence assault in progress. Upon arrival, EPPD Officers learned that an altercation had taken place amongst family members who were at the residence during the time of the incident. Further Investigation revealed RUDY GONZALEZ JR. violently assaulted his father RUDY GONZALEZ SR. (63).

MR. RUDY GONZALEZ SR. suffered serious injuries to include trauma to the head as a result of the blows he suffered. GONZALEZ JR. fled the scene prior to the officer?s arrival & has not been seen since.

Over the weekend, April 16, 2011 EPPD Investigators learned that RUDY GONZALEZ SR. has passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained at the hands of his son ?

This marks the 13th MURDER of 2011 for El Paso, TX.

EPPD Investigators have issued an arrest warrant for RUDY GONZALEZ JR. for the offense MURDER.

GONZALEZ JR. has not been seen since the night of the incident & is now on the run. He is believed to remain in the El Paso, TX area..

RUDY GONZALEZ JR. has an extensive criminal history for offense which include, MULTIPLE ASSAULTS / FAMILY VIOLENCE, ARSON, THEFT, PROBATION VIOLATION, POSSESSION OF COCAINE, CRIMINAL TRESPASS, & AGGRAVATED ASSAULT.
