Las Cruces Animal Shelter Offers Free Adoptions

While school supplies and clothes will be tax-free, pet adoptions at the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley will be completely free.

ASCMV is offering free adoptions to the public in conjunction with New Mexico’s tax-free holiday weekend. The free adoptions will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

All adopted animals will be either spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccinations, licensed and will come with a complimentary 30-day pet insurance policy.

Regular adoption fees are $75 for dogs $50 cats.
