Large Storm Moves Through East & Far East El Paso
An afternoon storm made its way through east and far east El Paso Saturday, bringing with it rain and powerful wind gusts.
The storm was headed west but weakened significantly around 5 p.m., according to StormTRACK meteorologist Jorge Torres.
He said there were reports of heavy lightning and even hail in parts of east El Paso County.
ABC-7 viewers said residents near Horizon City lost power during the storm.
El Paso’s rain chances remain at 30% for Sunday.
