Places To Sign City Council Recall Petitions
Pastor Tom Brown’s lawyers, Stuart Leeds and Teresa Caballero, said that the district attorney’s investigation into Brown is politically motivated and is intended to intimidate the churches from participating in the efforts to recall Mayor John Cook and city representatives Susie Byrd and Steve Ortega. The group will have a news conference at 1 p.m. Saturday Memorial Park.
Registered voters will get an opportunity to sign the recall petition in multiple locations throughout the city from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday.
