Police: Victim In Assault Accused Of Having Cocaine

Officers investigating a report of an assault arrested the victim on suspicion of having cocaine, police said.

Police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Tierra Santa Place shortly after noon Monday to look into reports of an aggravated assault. Officers searching the car of the victim said they found a purse containing a bag of cocaine.

Ashley Lohre, of the 100 block of Casas Lindas in Sunland Park, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram. She was booked into the El Paso County Jail, with bond set at $1,500.
