EPPD Arrest 18 DWI Suspects In 36 Hours

A citywide crackdown on drunk driving this weekend ended with 18 DWI arrests, according to El Paso police.

On Saturday, officers said they arrested one person for DWI: 3rd or More, three people for DWI: 2nd Offense, three people for DWI: Double The Limit or More, and four people for DWI.

On Sunday, police arrested two people for DWI: 2nd Offense, two people for DWI: Double the Limit or More, two people for DWI, and one person for DWI: Open Container.

Police provided mugshots for six of the suspects. You can view those in the slideshow to the left.
