NMSU Celebrates Homecoming With Multiple Events

New Mexico State University alumni and current students are set to celebrate 100 Years of Statehood’ for this year’s homecoming.

There’s more going on than just the homecoming football game.

“The Hangover 2” will be playing at Aggie Memorial Stadium, with candy, soda and popcorn provided on Tuesday 8 p.m.

There will also be a bonfire, pep rally and country music concert featuring Love and Theft at 7 p.m. Thursday at the tailgate lot south of soccer field and east of Aggie Memorial Stadium

Reunion dinners will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday for the class of 1951, at La Posta de Mesilla and 6 p.m. Thursday for the class of 1961 at 6 p.m. at Corbett Center’s West Ballroom. The reunion dinner for the 1981 class will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at My Brother’s Place restaurant.

Students spotted wearing crimson gear will be given prizes, including T-shirts, footballs and key chains in celebration of Crimson Day on Friday on the NMSU campus.
