2 Arrested, 1 Sought In Several Overnight 7-Eleven Robberies

El Paso police are looking for a man in connection to three 7-Eleven convenience store robberies overnight.

Police say the robberies happened within a 45 minute span beginning at 9:15 Tuesday night.

The first one was reported at the store on the 3400 block of Hondo Pass, the second one was reported on the 2000 block of Piedras Street, and the last one was reported on the 5000 block of Trowbridge Drive near Howze.

Three men allegedly drove to each location in a stolen Ford Expedition, according to police. Officials say officers spotted the SUV on U.S. 54 near Trowbridge.

When the men refused to pull over, a high-speed chase ensued. It ended when the SUV crashing into a concrete barrier.

Police say two of the men were injured during the wreck and they were arrested near the scene of the crash.

The third man ran away into the Austin Terrace neighborhood near Radford and the Loretto Academy. A Customs and Border Protection helicopter was called out to help police look for the man.

As of 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, the man was still on the loose. He is reportedly wearing a dark hoodie, and has an Asian-style tattoo in the back of his neck. Police say the man is armed with a knife.
