First Alert | Cold Temperatures With Rain And Snow Tonight
Winds are expected to die down this morning in West El Paso, but the cold will stick around all weekend and early next week.
Colder air comes in with this front tonight and could give us wind chills in the 20s maybe some teens — today and tonight. Rain threat mainly tonight and Saturday with some wind as well.
There is a slight snow chance late Friday and early Saturday here in El Paso and Las Cruces. I don’t expect much if any accumulation, but an inch or two is not out of the question. The mountains could see 5-10 inches through Saturday.
Another front will move through late Sunday, and another storm system on Monday could give the Borderland more opportunities for snow.
