Police Say 2 Overnight Robberies On West Side Could Be Related

Officials from the El Paso Police Department are on the lookout for someone who allegedly used a gun during an armed robbery early Sunday morning.

A police dispatcher said not one, but two robberies on the west side could be related.

One of the robberies occurred at a Circle K gas station at the intersection of Belvidere Street and Mesa street. The second armed robbery occurred at a 7 11 gas station on the 6500 block of Escondido Drive around 5 a.m.

When ABC-7 crews arrived at the scene, investigators were still busy fingerprinting and looking for evidence to point them in the right direction.

Few details have been released on the robberies, but stay with ABC-7 for further updates.
