Man Shot Outside East El Paso Bar

El Paso Police officers are investigating a report of shots fired outside an East Side bar early this morning.

Officers at the scene were told that a disturbance inside Liquor Dicks, 1360 Lee Trevino, led to several customers being asked to leave. Once outside, witnesses assigned to the Pebble Hills patrol responded to 1360 Lee Trevino, Liquor Dicks on a shots fired call. Officers at the scene were told that there had been a disturbance inside the bar and several customers were asked to leave.

Once outside witnesses heard shots fired from a gun and the customers involved in the disturbance fled the area, according to police.

Ruben Martinez, 25, was shot but it was a non-life-threatening wound, according to police. Martinez did not desire prosecution.

There were no other reported injuries.
