Man Killed, Struck By Car In Northeast El Paso

A man is dead after being struck by a car early Saturday morning in Northeast El Paso. Police are now searching for the person responsible for hitting him.

Just after 4:00 a.m. Saturday, dispatchers tell ABC-7, the victim was changing a tire on the westbound lanes of Fred Wilson at the Marshal Road exit near Fort Bliss property. That’s when a grey Honda struck the man, dispatchers have since said they have not been able to locate the driver.

The victim was found by first responders bleeding from the head, and non-responsive to those working with him. He later died at the scene.

A police spokesman is at the scene now. El Paso Police have dispatched their special traffic investigations team to the scene of the incident to determine what exactly happened.
