Some Playing Music Too Loud At Fort Bliss, Commanding General Says

Some people on Fort Bliss are playing their music too loud when they’re driving on post, according to Maj. Gen. Dana J. H. Pittard, 1st AD and Fort Bliss Commanding General.

“I have received several complaints lately about people driving around with their music blaring, the bass booming, and vulgar language in the lyrics,” Pittard wrote in his column in the Fort Bliss Monitor. “I love playing my music too ? from hip-hop to rock to country; but, I try to keep it within my car. Please keep your music down to a level where it cannot be heard more than 50 feet away from you ? it?s our policy here on Fort Bliss. Let?s all be courteous and keep our post family-friendly.”
