Pet adoption taking place this weekend

The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department and the Humane Society of El Paso will be offering low-cost pet adoptions for the Independence Day holiday.

The adoption fee on July 4 will be $60 for pets, four months of age and older. The fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip with registration and rabies certificate.

Pet adoptions can be made at the campus housing both the City shelter (5001 Fred Wilson) and the El Paso Humane Society (4991 Fred Wilson). Event adoptions hours will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For more information, please call the shelter at (915) 842-1000.
