Mexican woman rescued from canal has died
The woman who was rescued from the American Canal on Wednesday has died, according to U.S. Border Patrol officials.
The woman died Thursday morning at University Medical Center.
The Mexican Consulate is trying to contact her family in Mexico to inform them of her death but have not been able to locate them.
The two men with the victim are currently being detained.
