Several local judicial races decided in runoff

Several local judicial races were on the runoff ballot and are separated by a few hundred votes.

The updated results are below.

JUSTICE, 8TH COURT OF APPEALS DISTRICT, PLACE 2 DEM
YVONNE RODRIGUEZ DEM 7810 51.97%
MARCOS LIZARRAGA DEM 7217 48.03%

Winner faces Republican Chris Antcliff in November. He was apppointed in 2008.

MIKE CERVANTES DEM 7105 47.04%
ANNA PEREZ DEM 7998 52.96%

Mary Anne Bramblett elected in 1988 not running. No republican opponent. July 31 winner is the judge.

LAURA STRATHMANN DEM 8017 53.49%
LUCILA CAMARENA DEM 6971 46.51%

Patricia Macias not running for office. Elected in 2000. Winner will face Republican Paula Thomas in November.

SERGIO ENRIQUEZ DEM 8101 54.01%
REGINA ARDITTI DEM 6897 45.99%

Arditti seeking re-election. No Republican opponent, winner is final.

CRIMINAL DISTRICT JUDGE, COURT NO. 1 DEM
THERESA CABALLERO TC DEM 6179 39.64%
DIANE NAVARRETE DEM 9410 60.36%

Candidate replacing visiting Judge Susan Larson, who is finishing the term left vacant when Manny Barraza was convicted of wire fraud, lying and public corruption.
