Thousands of El Pasoans lose power Monday morning

Power continues to be restored to thousands of El Paso Electric customers after a blackout early Monday morning.

The blackout affected more than 2300 customers in the northeast area of El Paso around 1:30 a.m.

Crews say the problem was with a utility pole at Marcus Uribe Drive and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
