EPPD: Drunk driver responsible for westside wreck
El Paso police say a woman may have been drinking when she slammed into a parked SUV early Friday morning.
This incident happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Stanton and University. Nobody was in the SUV the woman hit, but the vehicle was pushed for about 20 yards.
The suspected drunk driver was not seriously hurt, but was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police say she will be detained once she is released.
