Thursday Night High School Football in El Paso

-Eastwood shocked Americas at the SAC Thursday night to shake up the race in district 1-5A. After being down 21-10 at the half, Eastwood scored 21 straight unanswered points to shock Americas 34-28. Eastwood is now (6-2, 3-2) Americas with the loss drops to (4-4, 2-3) on the year.

-At Coronado the T-Birds cruised to a 59-0 win over Socorro High. After suffering their first district loss to El Dorado last week, Coronado came out and rebounded. The T-Birds are now (6-1, 4-1) where as the Bulldogs are now (2-6, 0-5).

-Over at Bowie High the Burges Mustangs offense struggled to score once again. Jefferson beat Burges 21-7 to hand Burges their sixth loss of the year. Burges is now (3-6, 1-5) on the year. Jefferson with the win improves to (3-5, 2-3) on the year.
