Chapin’s Streak Ends

Chapin appeared to be unstoppable in 1-4A Volleyball this year, but then they closed the regular season out against Burges. Entering Thursday night’s district finale with Chapin the team was on a 14 match winning streak. However, the impressive streak was a 39 game unbeaten streak.

Burges on their home court ruined both streaks for the Huskies. The Mustangs took game one 25-22 in front of a standing room only crowd at the Burges gym.

Chapin’s match streak ended at 39, and then Burges gave them their first district loss of the year after taking the 5th game by a score of 15-11. It was the first loss for Chapin Volleyball since August 31st, when the team lost to Franklin.
