Police continue to search for vehicle involved in Saturday hit-and-run

Police said they are still searching for a vehicle that may have hit a man and fled the scene in East El Paso Saturday morning.

A 19-year-old man was found unconscious near the intersection of Montana and Lee Trevino, police said.

According to officials, they believe he was hit by a silver car.

A mirror was found at the scene, so police are looking for a car that is missing the left mirror.

Officials also said the car likely suffered some damage to the left side.

The man remains in critical condition Sunday morning, according to officials.

Special traffic investigators were sent to the scene, and the road was blocked off for several hours Saturday morning.

If you have seen a silver car missing a left mirror, police are urging you call them.
