El Paso Police investigate shooting over parking space near Downtown El Paso
El Paso Police are investigating a shooting near Downtown El Paso that wounded two people.
The shooting took place at East Yandell and North Mesa around 3 p.m. Thursday.
One witness told ABC-7 that she heard three gunshots. Another witness told ABC-7 that two BMWs were trying to park when one car beat the other one to the spot.
One driver got out and started banging on the hood of the other BMW and then allegedy took out a gun and opened fire.
El Paso Police on the scene said that two parties were involved. The two that were wounded had non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
One man is in custody and police said they believe it to be an isolated incident between the two parties.
