El Paso Police ID man killed in crash on I-10 early Monday morning
Nov. 18, 2013 Afternoon Update:
El Paso Police have released the name of the man killed in an early morning crash on I-10 at Downtown.
Police say that 25-year-old Constantine Coloduros, of the 7000 block of El Cajon, was driving on I-10 West at about 1:25 a.m. Monday when the vehicle crashed into a concrete support for an overpass at the Mesa off ramp.
Coloduros was unresponsive but his passenger, 26-year-old Michael Zamora, was able to exit the vehicle and assist in rendering aid. Coloduros was transported to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they have determined that speed was a factor in this crash.
According to ABC-7’s DWI slideshow on its website, Coloduros was arrested on suspicion of DWI on March 9, 2011.
Nov. 18, 2013 Morning Post: An early morning single vehicle crash on Monday leaves one person dead. It happened at around 1:30 am near I- 10 West and the Downtown exit in central El Paso.
Police say one person was killed in the crash.
The crash left a portion of the freeway closed for several hours and forced westbound traffic to exit on the Downtown exit.
Police have not released a name of the person killed.
