Investigators: Men killed Juarez family over $115 pit bull stud fee
Two men were arrested in connection with the massacre of a family during the weekend in Juarez, and investigators say they did it over $115.
The two maquiladora workers, 21-year-old Jess Daniel “El Tomate” Mendoza Hernndez and 31-year-old Edgar Uriel Lujn Guevara, were arrested Sunday. Authorities arrested. Investigators say two other men are sought in the massacre, and they expect to make an arrest soon.
Funeral services for the victims were held also held Wednesday. They include three children and five adults. All were found bound and stabbed to death.
Investigators say one of the men knew the family, and that the children might have been killed because they could have recognized him.
Police say the father owed the men a stud fee. They say he owed them money because one of the alleged killers allowed the father to mate a pit bull with one of his dogs.
