New movie “50-1” filmed at Sunland Park Racetrack

New movie “50-1” is coming out in March. Horse trainer Chipp Woolley trained the horse the movie is based on. He trained the horse at the Sunland Park Racetrack.

“Well I was raised on a ranch in the middle of nowhere and when I got outta high school,” Woolley said, “I went to college for awhile. Went to the racetrack one summer just to exercise horses and kinda hang out for the summer heal up from a rodeo injury and I just never left.”
