Anthony residents complain about alleged flasher
A quiet old man has created quite a stir in Anthony. Neighbors complain that he keeps pulling down his pants and touching himself as women walk by the home.
Ladies say they’ve been filing police reports for several years, but Anthony’s police chief says there’s not much his department can do other than investigate. He says witnesses need to be willing to testify what they’ve seen.
But the man, whose name is Jose Carbajal, tells a different story. He says he is only urinating in his front yard, and it’s the women’s fault for looking at him.
Police don’t buy that explanation. They say Carbajal has a type: older, heavy-set women.
Anthony’s police chief says he doesn’t know why Carbajal hasn’t been forced to register as a sex offender.
