El Paso police: Two injured in Northeast El Paso stabbing
A man and woman are recovering after being stabbed during an altercation at a Northeast El Paso motel.
El Paso police were called to the Colonia Motor Hotel on the 8600 block of Dyer around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night. When they arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with stab wounds and a woman in her 30s who was also injured.
Both were transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
El Paso police spokesman Darrel Petry said he did not know if the two were staying at the motel or where the fight actually occurred. Investigators are trying to determine who is at fault to press charges.
