Motorcyclist dies after hitting guard rail
A motorcycle rider is dead after a crash on the Northeast side Saturday afternoon.
Just after noon on the U.S. 54 ramp leading to I-10 east — police say the rider lost control. The rider was killed by the impact.
Detectives still have the ramp closed as they are wrapping up the investigation. They expect it to reopen by 7 p.m.
ABC-7 does not know if the rider was a man or a woman — or if he or she was wearing a helmet.
