Teenage boy arrested in deadly house-party stabbing

Police arrested a teenage boy in connection with a deadly stabbing outside a house party last month in Far East El Paso.

The 16-year-old boy is charged with murder and is being held at the Juvenile Probation Department. He is accused of stabbing and killing 19-year-old Julian Galvan during a fight in the early hours of March 30 on the 3400 block Tierra Cobre.

Cesar Legarda, 19, was also arrested. He’s accused of stabbing 16-year-old Adriana Villegas outside the same party. She remains in critical condition. Legarda was charged with attempted murder. His bond was set at $750,000.

Police have not released Legarda’s mug because the investigation is not complete.
