Juarez’s environmental department orders removal of new message off mountain; group won’t do it
The city of Juarez”s environmental department has ordered the immediate removal of a new message placed on the Juarez mountain by the Luz del Mundo religious group, according to ABC-7’s media partner XHIJ-TV.
The city of Juarez is threatening to fine the group between 7,300 pesos and 14,600 per day until they remove the message and clean up the area.
La Luz del Mundo is refusing to budge claiming the Juarez mountains are federal property and they do not recognize the Mexican federal government.
