NMSU women lose, men play Friday

It’s been a busy basketball season for New Mexico State Basketball players.

The NMSU women’s basketball team lost in the WAC tourney, 75-65 in the Friday’s semifinal match. NM State ended the season 11-20 overall. NMSU was ahead of the Vandals in the first half (41-35), but fell behind in the second period.

NMSU’s Men’s Basketball team will go up against Bakersfield (No. 7 seed) Friday night at 9:30 PM Mountain time from The Orleans Arena. If the Aggies win this semifinal game, they’ll take on the winner of the Utah Valley (No. 1 seed) and Idaho (No. 5 seed); which is Saturday.

Anyone interested in cheering on the Aggies in Las Cruces, tonight, can watch the game free at the Allan Theaters Cineport 10 inside Mesilla Valley Mall.
