One person dead in motorcycle crash in Northeast

Police confirm a 33-year old man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Northeast El Paso.

The accident happened near the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (FM 3255)and the New Mexico State line around 4:30 this morning.

Special Traffic Investigators determined that speed, alcohol and failure to wear a helmet were factors in this crash.

The motorcyclist has life threateninginjuries because of the crash. He was transported to and was taken to University Medical Center in serious condition. The
motorcyclist died at UMC as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.

This investigation continues.
