Police investigating shooting at EPCC

Police are investigating a shooting at the Northwest Campus of El Paso Community College. The school sent out a text alert that read, “Police investigating shooting at Northwest Campus. Subject has left the campus.” That was then followed by another text alert that reported no one had been shot and that it appeared to be an isolated incident.

The school did not have to be placed on lockdown. A school administrator told ABC-7 it started as an altercation between two people in the school’s parking lot. One shot was fired and the suspect took off. A description of the suspect has not been released at this time.
