Police Officer Crashes into a Wall Avoiding Collision

An officer walks away with non-life threatening injuries after crashing headfirst into a wall.

An El Paso Police Department Officer responded to a call for assistance as he was approaching the Pebble Hills and Lee Intersection. The officer turned on his sirens and lights but one driver did not adhere to the signals, causing the officer to swerve out of the way to avoid a collision.

The officer then lost control and hit a rock wall. Paramedics said he is not facing life-threatening injuries and no one else was injured. The investigation is still underway.
