Woman stabs sister after argument escalates
A fight between two sisters turned ugly early Saturday morning.
Twenty-four-year-old Laura Del Hierro allegedly grabbed her twenty-year-old sister by the hair, dragged her outside and started beating her.
It all happened on the 300 block of San Benito street in Berino, New Mexico.
Deputies say the younger sister fought back and ran inside. Emergency crews found her unconscious on the kitchen covered in blood.
When deputies asked her if Del Hierro attacked her, the younger sister reportedly gave deputies the “thumbs up.”
Del Hierro allegedly left but was spotted by Anthony police at a later time.
She was charged with battery and tampering with evidence.
