Deadly crash kills one El Paso teenager

HUDSPETH COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety confirms an El Paso teenager is dead after car crash on highway 62 yesterday evening.

That’s the highway between El Paso and Carlsbad.
It happened in Hudspeth county.

We’re told 19-year old Gabriel Garcia died in the crash.
Officers say Garcia was veering off the roadway when he over-corrected, crashing into another car.

48-year old Juan Carlos Cornelio was the other driver involved.
The crash is still under investigation.
