Fire engulfs Chaparral mobile home
A Chaparral family was displaced after a fire destroyed their mobile home Friday, officials said.
Two adults and three children escaped the fire, which occurred on the 300 block of Luna Azul at 3:45 p.m.
Fire crews arrived on the scene shortly after the fire sparked but the home was already destroyed, officials said.
Fire fighters quelled the flames after about 20 minutes.
No one was injured by the fire, and the Dona Ana County Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
