Pedestrian struck by car at busy east El Paso intersection
Special Traffic Investigators are at the scene of a serious wreck involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Lee Trevino Drive and Edgemere Boulevard.
Emergency crews were called out just after 5:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said a woman was hit and taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
STI is typically dispatched to a scene when a wreck could become fatal.
No word yet on the woman’s identification or the driver involved.
Traffic will be affected.
