Closure of Spur 601, LP 375 intersection delayed until Friday morning
The complete closure of Spur 601/Loop 375 Intersection has been postponed until Friday, May 9 at 9 a.m. because the detour was not completed on time to meet all safe components for the traveling public, according to TxDOT.
The closure was originally supposed to begin Tuesday.
The intersection of Spur 601 and Loop 375 will close for two months while TxDOT begins its Diverging Diamond Intersection project.
Once complete the DDI project is expected to alleviate congestion and increase traffic flow. There will also be less traffic signal lights at the intersection.
