Driver charged in death of 2-year-old in rollover crash
A child has died from injuries she sustained in a single-vehicle rollover on the evening of June 14.
El Paso Police say that 2-year-old Jazline Saldana of El Paso was injured at just after 7:30 p.m. on June 14 while riding in a 2004 Chevy Cavalier in the 9700 block of Socorro Road.
The driver of the car, 32-year-old Berenice Alonso, has been arrested and charged with Intoxicated Manslaughter. Alonso is of the 9100 block of Hazel Nut in El Paso.
Alonso was booked into the El Paso County Jail with bond set at $100,000.
This is the 21 st traffic fatality of 2014.
