Flooding on I-10 and U.S. 54 snarls traffic; UMC experiencing flooding

Flooding on I-10 and U.S. 54 snarled traffic Tuesday afternoon.

Both areas have construction next to them.

Texas Department of Transportation cameras show dirt may have moved and the water went into the freeways.

A semi also stalled at I-10 and Raynolds due to the flooded freeway, causing traffic to back up to Downtown and to Hawkins.

Northbound lanes of U.S. 54 at Montana were shut down temporarily.

Some cars rolled through the flooding and dirt movers could be seen working in the area around 4 p.m.

University Medical Center (UMC) in South-Central is experiencing flooding which is believed to be due to the rain.
