Man killed in Northeast El Paso rollover wreck

A 22-year-old El Paso man was killed early Friday morning in a single vehicle collision.

El Paso Police say that Aaron Michael Escamilla, of the 5600 block of Duchess, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound on Fairbanks at 4:40 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole.

Escamilla died at the scene.

Police say they believe speed was a factor in the collision but it is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor.

Police are continuing the investigation.
